I don't care enough to do a whole post about the shameless display at Coretta Scott King's funeral yesterday, only that I am amazed that John Kerry didn't pop up long enough to say "She was a noble woman with a noble cause and Vice President Cheney's daughter is a lesbian," because that's how subtle the shenanigans really were.

Thoughts:

1. Someone should really tell Jimmy Carter that the Democrats wiretapped Martin Luther King, Jr., probably because they were using the info to keep on blocking civil rights legislation in congress, something the Democrats were oh so good at.

2. How impotent do you have to be to use a funeral as a political podium? Bonus points, though, for exemplifying the phrase "preaching to the converted." Literally.

3. Jimmy Carter's presidency makes Bill Clinton's look like Abe Lincoln's in comparison. And no matter how much he rails on, nobody's forgotten that.
