New York Democratic Mayoral wannabe Anthony Weiner learned a valuable lesson this week from his own mother: don't lie about Mayor Bloomberg's education policies. According to the New York Daily News, Weiner was in the midst of a speech criticizing the Mayor on education when his mother Fran, a retired teacher, interrupted him to correct his facts on foreign language programs offered in city schools. The Congressman and his mom briefly debated the issue before Weiner conceded that he was wrong. His hot air quickly deflated, Weiner finished his speech reminded that "mother knows best."
